Job Description
The Hospice Aide performs duties essentially of personal care which might be given to a convalescent, chronically ill, disabled person or terminally ill in their homes. Attempts in every possible way, in working with Home Health patients and families, to assist them to assume responsibilities toward self-care. Attempts in every possible way, in working with Hospice patients and families to assist them with measures to provide them with personal care and assist in their comfort. Assists family members to care for their family member whenever possible. Advocates for the needs of the patient.
We are looking for someone who can provide outstanding patient care and physical support on a daily basis.
A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will provide compassionate care and assistance with many daily living needs for patients. The ideal candidate will spend time interacting directly with patients, monitoring their vital signs, and assisting when necessary.
The ideal candidate will relate well as an advocate for patients through conversation and interaction to improve the patient’s experience while at our facilities.
Additional Job Description
Education: High School Degree or Equivalent and current nurse assistant certification.
