Hospice Volunteer Coordinator- Part Time

Job Title: Volunteer Coordinator

MUSC Health Hospice at Home by BAYADA is seeking a Part-Time Volunteer Coordinator located in North Charleston, SC.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and supervise delivery of all volunteer services.
• Partner with office staff to coordinate administrative volunteer services.
• Assess and monitor record-keeping systems for services delivered and time involved.
• Recruit, interview, and select volunteers.
• Design and supervise volunteer orientation and training.
• Facilitate and support volunteer retention activities.
• Monitor and evaluate volunteer performance.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with Medicare Conditions of Participation (COPs).
• Stay current with federal and state volunteer rules and regulations.
• Plan and coordinate volunteer support meetings.

Requirements:

• Provide excellent customer service and quality hospice care focusing on volunteer services.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong interpersonal skills, goal achievement, and ability to take on responsibility with positive results.
• Prior healthcare, home care, and recruiting experience preferred.
• Effective communication skills in English.
