What are the responsibilities and job description for the Civil Litigation Associate Attorney (Mid-Level, 3–8 Years) position at Murtaugh | Attorneys at Law?
Murtaugh LLP is seeking a mid-level Civil Litigation Associate Attorney (3–8 years) to join our Irvine office and take meaningful responsibility on high-impact matters.
This is not a background role. We want a self-starter who drives cases forward, shapes strategy, and owns outcomes. Our practice focuses on complex disputes, including partnership and shareholder disputes, business torts and breach of fiduciary duty, real estate litigation (quiet title, co-ownership, commercial property), breach of contract and commercial disputes, and construction defect and delay claims.
We are not looking for a generalist. We are looking for a lawyer who wants to build real depth in a sophisticated civil litigation practice.
What You Will Do
You will have direct client contact, develop case strategy with partners, take and defend depositions, argue motions, attend mediations, and play a meaningful role in trial preparation. If you want ownership, mentorship, and a clear path forward, this is that opportunity.
