Summary

The Integrated Supply Chain Manager leads the coordination and execution of supply chain activities to support product availability, reliable customer delivery, and effective cost and inventory management. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role oversees the Warehouse Manager and provides leadership for materials planning, purchasing, and trade compliance functions as assigned. The manager partners with Sales, Customer Service, Finance, and manufacturing and supply partners to align demand with supply availability, resolve constraints, and improve performance across the supply chain.

Essential Functions

  • People leadership: Lead, coach, and develop direct reports; establish clear goals and responsibilities; manage performance, staffing needs, and development plans; and build effective coordination among assigned teams.
  • Integrated planning: Lead the supply chain planning process and coordinate regular demand and supply reviews with Sales, Customer Service, Finance, and manufacturing or supply partners. Use historical demand, confirmed orders, Salesforce pipeline information, and agreed forecast assumptions to identify supply requirements, risks, and corrective actions.
  • Materials and supply planning: Oversee materials planning and replenishment as assigned. Align purchasing and supply plans with demand, supplier lead times, and inventory targets. Coordinate production requirements and capacity constraints with manufacturing partners; oversee local production scheduling where assigned.
  • Warehouse and fulfillment: Provide management oversight through the Warehouse Manager for receiving, storage, inventory handling, picking, packing, and shipping. Establish expectations for inventory accuracy, timely fulfillment, safe work practices, and efficient use of labor and space.
  • Inventory management: Establish and review inventory targets, safety stock, and replenishment parameters. Oversee cycle counting and inventory discrepancy resolution, reduce excess and obsolete inventory, and balance service requirements with working capital and storage costs.
  • Purchasing and supplier performance: Oversee purchasing activities as assigned; monitor supplier delivery, quality, lead times, and responsiveness. Resolve shortages and supplier issues and support sourcing and negotiations within delegated approval authority and corporate purchasing requirements.
  • Logistics coordination: Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics with internal teams and external providers. Monitor freight cost, shipment visibility, and delivery exceptions, and implement improvements within approved authority.
  • Trade compliance oversight: Where assigned, oversee the Trade Compliance team’s processes for import and export activities, documentation, recordkeeping, and issue escalation. Ensure responsibilities are clearly assigned and appropriate specialist and corporate guidance is used to resolve compliance questions.
  • Systems and data: Promote accurate and consistent supply chain data and workflows in SAP. Partner with system owners and IT to improve reporting, planning inputs, inventory visibility, and process controls; use Salesforce information where relevant to demand planning.
  • Performance and improvement: Monitor and report agreed measures such as on-time delivery, order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, inventory turns, stockouts, excess inventory, supplier delivery, and freight and warehouse costs. Identify root causes, lead corrective actions, and improve processes across assigned functions.
  • Risk and cross-functional coordination: Identify supply interruptions, capacity limitations, and other operational risks. Develop recovery plans with relevant partners and escalate material risks and decisions to the Director of Operations.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • At least seven years of progressively responsible supply chain experience, including experience in materials planning, inventory management, purchasing, or warehouse and logistics operations in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing people, developing team leaders, and leading improvements across multiple functions.
  • Hands-on SAP experience relevant to materials management, planning, inventory, or warehouse operations, with the ability to use reporting and data to guide decisions.
  • Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and financial skills, including an understanding of inventory, working capital, and operating costs.
  • Ability to balance customer requirements with supply constraints, coordinate competing priorities, and resolve operational issues across departments.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience using Salesforce or another CRM to support demand planning.
  • Experience leading sales and operations planning or comparable cross-functional demand and supply reviews.
  • Experience working with international supply networks and overseeing trade compliance specialists or coordinating import and export processes.
