What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Respiratory Therapist- PRN position at Murray?
Administers respiratory care and life support to patients with cardiopulmonary system deficiencies and abnormalities. Provides patient education on pulmonary disease processes, medications and therapies. Acts as a resource for Certified Respiratory Therapists, Respiratory Care Practitioners, and students. They act under the direction of the Medical Director, Director of Cardiopulmonary and the Respiratory Care Coordinator.
Minimum Education
Graduate of an accredited program for Respiratory Care.
Required Licenses
Registered Respiratory Therapist credentials with the National Board of Respiratory Care
Respiratory Care Practitioner Kentucky state license
Compliance with Continuing Education requirements
Certified in CPR/First Aid for Health Care Professionals
