Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of routine administrative duties related to implementing and delivering library services and
- Develop and promote library utilization
- Provide guidance to students and teachers regarding areas of specialized interests
- Instruct students in use of library and technical aspects of library equipment
- Orient students to library functions, services and programs
- Respond to student requests
- Perform regular upkeep on library equipment and machines
- Perform complete circulation support duties
- Participate in various class programs (including Power-Hour assistance)
- Perform relates duties as assigned
- Coordinate with teachers to support them in teaching state core concepts
- Become specialized in UEN resources for both teachers and students
- Maintain the library such that the material is current annually
- Support teachers in guiding students to reading material that is appropriate to their skill level
- Demonstrate a general passion for reading and literacy school wide
Minimum Requirements: Graduation from high school; plus, six (6) months specialized training provided through in-service
programs, professional workshops or seminars; and two (2) years experience in a library or media environment
performing related duties; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Job Specifications: Part-time hourly position – 28 hours per week (with retirement benefits)

Pay Grade:
Salary Range: Current Employees: $17.63 to $25.48 based on years with the district
New-to-the-District: $17.63 to $20.18 based on education and/or experience
