About us
Peddlers Mall is a family-owned and operated chain of flea markets NOW with 19 locations across KY, IN, OH, & now WV.
Peddlers Mall has been in business for over 25 years and specializes in second-hand (vintage, antique, repurposed, thrifted) and new merchandise.
Applicants Must:
-Have previous cashier, point of sale, typing, and retail experience.
-Obtains strong customer service skills.
-Have a clear criminal background check AND pass a drug test.
-Be available nights, weekends, and some holidays.
-MUST be reliable, independent, and comfortable with working alone in certain areas of the store with minimal guidance.
-Be able to communicate effectively with customers and vendors and have a strong attention to detail.
-Have strong problem-solving and math skills.
-Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment during busy shopping times.
-Must be able to stand for long periods of time and complete light janitorial duties throughout the day, as well as assisting in organising the store and products.
-Welcome and engage with customers and vendors as they enter/exit the store.
-Assessing customers’ and vendors' needs with any product or operational questions/concerns.
-Understanding and operating the cash registers, our custom business POS, and processing payments.
-Must have reliable transportation.

*We begin our cashiers at an hourly rate of $12 per hour with additional monthly bonus opportunities. Please NOTE this is a part-time position (between 20-25 hours per week).
Other Duties: Assisting in opening and closing the store, vendor communication, greeting and checking out customers, light cleaning, customer service responsibilities, vendor relations, organising booths, assisting with social media accounts, and posting current products online.
