Position Overview
We are seeking a Case Manager - 2 to join our Case Management team. This senior-level role will act as a bridge between strategic oversight and day-to-day operations, supporting the Case Management Director and supervising Case Managers - 1. The ideal candidate will have prior immigration paralegal experience and strong leadership skills, ready to take on operational responsibilities that drive efficiency and quality across the team
This is a full-time, hybrid position with on-site presence three days a week in one of our three offices located in MD, VA or NJ. Salary is commensurate with experience
Key Responsibilities
Operational Support & Delegation
- Assist with onboarding/offboarding and staffing transitions.
- Ensure Case Manager - 1 checklist of duties and responsibilities are up to date.
- Act as a point of contact for escalations and small-scale decision-making.
Technical & Reporting Expertise
- Share responsibility for Salesforce reporting and matter view updates.
- Monitor performance through data analysis and reporting.
Team Oversight & Quality Control
- Supervise Case Managers - 1 and ensure quality standards are met.
- Weekly review of attorneys’ calendars to prevent conflicts and promote efficiency.
- Track case progress, and milestone completion to ensure compliance with internal procedures.
Cross- Department Collaboration
- Coordinate with Legal, Finance, and Rep-agreement departments for smooth operations.
- Update case statuses for accurate billing and collections.
Training & Development
- Help onboard and train new legal staff.
- Promote consistency in performance tracking and procedures.
Qualifications
Former immigration paralegal with EOIR and USCIS experience.
- Skilled in Salesforce. Preferably with strong reporting capabilities.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with a proactive mindset.
- Comfortable managing others in a fast-paced environment.
