We are seeking a Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at Murphy Veterinary Hospital. As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients and their beloved pets. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Greet and welcome clients and their pets with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Schedule appointments and manage the veterinary clinic's calendar
- Answer phone calls, emails, and other inquiries from clients
- Collect and update client information in the database
- Assist with preparing and maintaining patient records
- Coordinate with veterinary staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Provide general information about veterinary services, procedures, and pricing
- Assist with basic administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal-related field is preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with clients and colleagues
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in computer systems and software applications used in veterinary clinics
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
