Full-Time | Year-Round Commercial Work
Starting Pay: $40-$50/hour based on experience

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Plumbing Foreman who can take control of a job, lead a crew, read the plans, lay out the work, and keep a commercial plumbing project moving.

This is not a position for someone looking to become a foreman. We need someone who has already been responsible for crews and commercial plumbing projects and understands what it takes to get work installed correctly, safely, and on schedule.

Our work consists of commercial construction projects including schools, office buildings, retail facilities, community facilities, renovations, and other commercial projects throughout the region.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead and supervise commercial plumbers, mechanics, apprentices, and helpers
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and plumbing drawings
• Lay out plumbing and piping systems from the plans
• Coordinate daily work and manpower
• Assign work to crew members and maintain production
• Plan material requirements and make material counts
• Coordinate with project management, other trades, inspectors, and subcontractors
• Install and oversee commercial plumbing systems
• Maintain quality and make sure installations meet specifications
• Track daily progress and jobsite activity
• Maintain a safe, organized jobsite
• Troubleshoot field conditions and keep the project moving

Experience We're Looking For

You should have significant hands-on commercial plumbing experience with systems and materials such as:

• Copper
• PVC
• CPVC
• Cast iron
• Steel piping
• Sanitary piping
• Domestic water
• Storm piping
• Underground plumbing
• Hangers and supports
• Plumbing fixtures and equipment

You must be comfortable calculating and laying out offsets, elevations, penetrations, hangers, supports, and piping routes from construction drawings.

Requirements

• Previous Commercial Plumbing Foreman experience
• Strong commercial plumbing background
• Ability to independently read blueprints and specifications
• Experience laying out commercial plumbing systems
• Ability to lead and direct a plumbing crew
• Strong knowledge of plumbing installation practices
• Ability to communicate with project managers, other trades, and inspectors
• Dependable transportation to the Clinton, MD area and surrounding jobsites
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work full-time and overtime when projects require it

Compensation

Starting pay is $40-$50 per hour based on your commercial plumbing experience, leadership experience, and overall ability to run work.
