Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Contract Management Intern to support our Global Contracts Team in streamlining contract processes, enhancing compliance, and leveraging AI and other technology tools for efficiency. Over the course of 12 weeks, you will gain hands-on experience in Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), digital repository organization, and process automation, while contributing to strategic initiatives such as contract review playbook development and audit readiness.

The ideal intern will demonstrate strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail, complemented by excellent written and verbal communication abilities. An analytical mindset is essential, enabling the identification of risks and the proposal of effective solutions. Finally, the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment is crucial for success in this role

By the end of the internship, you will gain practical experience in contract lifecycle management and compliance review, develop skills in organizing and digitizing legal documents for efficiency, contribute to the creation of a contract review playbook and audit-ready documentation, learn how AI tools can be applied to streamline legal and procurement workflows, and build a strong foundation for future roles in legal operations, procurement, or corporate compliance.

This internship will be in Murphy Oil Corporation’s corporate offices in Houston, Texas.
