ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Follow safe work practices and adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
- Understand and use all required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
- Operate various stationary and hand tools for cutting, grinding, drilling, shaping and installing materials.
- Installation of Basic Marine Electrical Systems (AC and DC systems. Bonding, wire runs, simple electrical connections, chaffing protections.)
- Installation of Basic Marine Plumbing and Mechanical Systems. (Bonding, Hose Runs, Chaff protections, installing ball valves, thru hulls, seacocks, hose connections, etc)
- Laminate Construction: Assembly decks to hull, dividers, wire way piping, supports and mounting systems.
- Safely work with Resins and Gel coats: Prep of surfaces, proper mixing of components and disposal methods.
- Install Cabinets, Countertops, Doors and Frames.
- Installation of all mechanical components, to include, pumps, motors, engines, HVAC systems, controls, running gear, electronics', etc.
- Wet Exhaust Systems: Installation of mufflers, piping, insulation and clamping.
- Fuel Tank: Performing pressure test, installation of tank and routing of hoses
- Housekeeping: Clean-up work area, including stationary tools and work platforms.
- Carries out other duties as defined by management.
- Basic Understanding of Marine Mechanical / Electrical Installations, Required.
- Must be able to communicate in English.
- MUST BE ABLE TO READ A TAPE MEASURE TO 1/16TH INCH INCREMENTS
