Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Foreman to oversee mechanical insulation projects from start to finish. You will run daily field operations, direct crew members, and ensure jobs are completed safely, on time, and up to specification. You must be highly proficient in reading blueprints and technical specifications. Mechanical insulation experience is preferred, but we will train the right canidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead field crews by assigning daily tasks, tracking progress, and mentoring apprentices.
- Interpret blueprints, project specifications, and submittals to plan material and labor needs.
- Oversee installation of insulation on complex commercial and industrial piping, ductwork, and equipment.
- Enforce safety compliance on-site, conducting toolbox talks and ensuring strict PPE usage.
- Manage inventory by tracking material deliveries and reporting shortages early.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven leadership: Must have experience managing crews in mechanical insulation or commercial trades.
- Technical expertise: Expert ability to read blueprints, isometric drawings, and structural specifications.
- Problem solver: Ability to resolve conflicts, handle layout challenges, and adjust schedules on the fly.
- Valid driver's license: Clean driving record to transport crews or company vehicles if needed.
