What are the responsibilities and job description for the ASSISTANT CONTROLLER position at Murphy Auto Group DBA MIRACLE TOYOTA?
⮚ Primary purpose of position is to support the Corporate Controller and CFO with Internal Audit
and reviewing company accounting policies and processes. The hybrid responsibilities of Staff
Accountant will provide support where needed on day-to-day accounting items
Internal Audit
⮚ Responsible for examining and verifying accounting policies and procedures are performed
within the organization
⮚ Compile monthly audit reports recommending improvements to processes as well as providing
transparency to leadership on process effectiveness
⮚ Ensure adherence to laws and regulations
⮚ Inspect and analyze financial statements, balance sheet, income statements and cash flow
statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
⮚ Verify that financial records conform to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and
other relevant standards
⮚ Monitor and verify compliance with industry standards and contractual obligations

Salary : $80,000 - $85,000
