Dog Daycare & Boarding Attendant - Part-Time
We are hiring a reliable, experienced Pet Care Attendant to care for dogs and cats in our busy dog daycare and boarding facility.
This hands-on animal care role is ideal for someone with kennel, daycare, boarding, shelter, veterinary, grooming, or training experience. You will help provide safe supervision, clean facilities, and calm, compassionate care for every pet.
Job Details
· Job type: Part-time
· Work setting: Dog daycare, dog boarding, and cat boarding facility
· Schedule: Flexible availability required, including weekends and holidays
· Physical requirements: Active work, extended time on your feet, and lifting up to 40 lbs
Responsibilities
· Supervise dogs during group play, rest periods, and boarding routines
· Feed, water, and monitor boarding dogs and cats
· Follow written pet care instructions and administer medications as directed
· Clean and sanitize kennels, cat condos, play yards, and common areas
· Observe animal behavior and health; report concerns promptly
· Assist with pet check-ins, check-outs, and owner communication
Qualifications
· Previous hands-on animal care experience required
· Comfortable handling dogs of different sizes, energy levels, and temperaments
· Comfortable caring for cats
· Knowledge of safe animal handling and basic animal behavior
· Dependable, punctual, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or with a team
