Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure timely service and presentation standards are met
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area
- Support food service operations by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining a tidy workspace
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent guest services and uphold hospitality standards
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory; eagerness to learn is key
- Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, lifting moderate loads, and working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and interact with guests when needed
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment, cooking techniques, and basic culinary skills is advantageous
