This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented payroll professional with strong compliance knowledge and dealership or multi‑entity payroll experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Process weekly and bi‑weekly payroll accurately and on time
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws
- Maintain payroll records, employee files, and audit documentation
- Resolve employee payroll inquiries and discrepancies
- Review and validate timecards and timekeeping data
- Partner with HR and Accounting on payroll reporting and reconciliation
- High school diploma or GED required (Associate’s degree in Accounting preferred)
- 5 years of payroll processing experience (automotive or multi‑location payroll preferred)
- Working knowledge of payroll systems; Paycom experience a plus
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- Solid understanding of payroll tax and wage regulations
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet strict deadlines
