Description
The Distribution Center Manager is an essential role in any successful retail company that seeks to serve its customers with excellence. Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Motivate, train & retain a high performing team that is excited to serve our customers’ needs.
- Keep up to date on product priorities so that we are proactive in serving customers’ needs.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety to take care of our team.
- Assist the team in all aspects of warehouse operations as a hands-on leader.
- Oversee Power Equipment Service Center operations to achieve an acceptable level of service to our stores & customers.
- Oversee Defective product collection & processing.
- Partner with our internal trucking contractor to dispatch weekly store deliveries and merchandise pick-ups.
- Order and manage inventory levels of certain office supplies and merchandise.
- Communicate opportunities for improvement with stores and the Purchasing team.
