Contract Electrical Maintenance Technician
Location: Pulaski, TN
Contract Length: at least 3 months (potentially longer)
Pay: $32–$36/hour
Shifts: Day Shift (6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.) or 2nd Shift (2:30 p.m.–11:00 p.m.)
The Mural Group is hiring for 2 Contract Maintenance Technicians with an automotive supplier. This role is perfect for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician who thrives in a fast-moving, high-technology manufacturing environment and enjoys solving complex equipment challenges that keep innovation on track.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and control systems for injection-molding machines, robotic assembly cells, and test equipment.
- Diagnose and repair PLCs, sensors, drives, relays, and wiring issues with minimal downtime.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and equipment calibration to support pre-production builds.
- Collaborate with engineering and tooling teams during equipment installations, changeovers, and trials.
- Document all maintenance activity and support continuous improvement efforts focused on uptime and safety.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, lockout/tagout, and facility electrical codes.
What You’ll Bring
- 5 years of experience in electrical or controls maintenance within a manufacturing or automotive setting.
- Strong understanding of PLC troubleshooting, AC/DC circuits, VFDs, sensors, and robotic systems.
- Experience with injection-molding, automated assembly, or testing equipment preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and safely diagnose live systems.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with engineering, production, and mechanical maintenance.
- High school diploma required; technical degree or certifications preferred.
- Must be able to work assigned shift (Day or 2nd) and support occasional off-shift needs..
