J. Craig Heuss Museum of Art Summer Internship
Munson invites upper-level undergraduate and graduate students with a strong interest in careers in the museum field to apply to the J. Craig Heuss Munson Museum of Art Summer Internship. Munson is dedicated to contributing to efforts to broaden the museum field by supporting individuals who contribute to a rich variety of viewpoints. Depending upon the availability of projects, the Heuss intern may work in a variety of Museum departments, including administration, collections care, education, exhibitions, development, marketing, or a combination of areas contributing to a broader experience.
This position is located on-site in Utica, NY; work hours are primarily Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm (approximately 37.5 hours per week) with some flexible hours required, including some occasional evening and weekend hours.

Requirements
● Undergraduate students interested in participating in the program must have completed at least one full year of college.
Summer 2026 internships are a minimum of six weeks and maximum of eight weeks in duration.
Interns must attend all training sessions and meetings required by their supervisor.
