About Munro

Munro & Associates is recognized globally for teardown analysis, benchmarking, product costing, manufacturing analysis, and engineering consulting. For more than thirty years, Munro has helped leading manufacturers understand how products are designed, manufactured, assembled, and costed—and how they can be improved.

Our work spans automotive, electric vehicles, aerospace, defense, robotics, consumer products, industrial equipment, and emerging technologies. Every project presents a unique technical challenge and an opportunity to create measurable customer impact.

Position Summary

Munro is seeking highly motivated engineering graduates who are eager to accelerate their careers through hands-on technical consulting work. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with real products, real customer challenges, and experienced industry experts from day one.

Unlike traditional entry-level engineering positions that focus on a single product or discipline, Associate Consulting Engineers gain broad exposure across industries, technologies, and engineering functions. You will help analyze products, identify improvement opportunities, evaluate manufacturing processes, and develop recommendations that influence engineering and business decisions.

This position is ideal for someone who is naturally curious, enjoys solving technical problems, and wants to quickly develop both engineering and consulting skills.

  • Present technical findings and recommendations
  • Develop leadership and project management skills early in your career

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop reports, presentations, and technical summaries
  • Support customer meetings, workshops, and project reviews
  • Collaborate with team members across engineering, manufacturing, costing, and project management disciplines
  • Translate technical findings into clear and actionable recommendations

Ideal Candidate Profile

You are likely a strong fit if you:

  • Enjoy understanding how products work and how they are made
