TOWN ADMINISTRATOR
Weare, New Hampshire
The Town of Weare, NH (approx. pop. 9000), is seeking an experienced professional municipal manager to serve as its next Town Administrator to follow its current Town Administrator who is retiring after 30 years of service to the Town.
Weare is located in South Central NH, within 20 miles of the cities of Manchester and Concord and 70 miles from Boston, MA, the Seacoast and Lakes Region of NH. The Town is governed by a five-member Board of Selectmen and has an SB2 town meeting process. The Town Administrator oversees an operating budget of approximately $9 million and a workforce of 46 full-time employees and many other part-time employees providing the full array of services to the community.
A master’s degree in a related field and at least five (5) years of relevant experience, preferably in municipal administration; or equivalent combination of education and experience desired.
Salary range to $145,000; starting salary commensurate with qualifications. Excellent benefits. Weare is an equal opportunity employer.
