Municipal Operations and Consulting is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Application & Tap Department Support staff member to assist with daily operations across the Application/Termination and Tap Departments. This role is responsible for processing customer account documentation, coordinating tap installations, managing deposits, corresponding with internal team members and external contacts, including builders and customers—and providing support for call center and service tasks as needed.

- Process customer applications, terminations, and other account documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Coordinate with the Tap Department on meter and tap installations as needed.
- Correspond with internal team members and external contacts, including builders and customers, to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage service-related emails and respond in a timely and professional manner.
- Create door tags for vacant properties with consumption information and coordinate disconnections as needed.
- Retrieve, review, scan, and file mailed or in-person applications, termination forms, and tap-related documents.
- Collect deposits via telephone and verify in-person cash deposits with front window staff.
- Provide call center and service support as needed.
- Maintain organized records and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new processes and procedures.
- Dependable, task-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with team members.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other relevant software.
- Strong communication skills for corresponding with customers, builders, and co-workers.
- Full-time position: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
- Must be available to work in office Emergency Response hours during extreme weather or emergency events. / No Exceptions
