American Modern Insurance Group is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Inside Property Adjuster to join our dynamic team. As an Inside Property Adjuster, you will play a critical role in investigating, evaluating, and resolving property insurance claims from initial notice to final disposition, ensuring compliance with state regulations and company processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and assess coverage on claims, determining the scope and damages of a loss
  • Conduct thorough investigations, gathering and analyzing information to make informed decisions
  • Document each claim in accordance with established claims processes and workflows, ensuring compliance with state-mandated requirements
  • Identify potential issues, such as fraud, salvage, subrogation, and litigation, and refer them to the appropriate parties
  • Collaborate with external vendors to manage claims and control expenses, while providing excellent customer service
  • Participate in catastrophe (CAT) events, handling and concluding claims in accordance with production expectations and established processes. Potential overtime required at times
  • Maintain state-mandated adjuster licensing and complete continuing education requirements to stay up-to-date on industry developments

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to interpret complex information
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple claims and meeting deadlines
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of insurance industry regulations, laws, and standards, with ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting
