In this position, the Account Services Intern will be obtaining a broad understanding of reinsurance contracts, policies, claims, and accounting information of ceding companies. Our intern will also gain strong data analytical skills using Microsoft Access.

Responsibilities
- Review contracts and gather corresponding financial accounts
- Organize accounts and spreadsheets for future use
- Help verify accuracy of ceding company reports
- Run reports and create roadmaps for reconciliations
- Run analytics of ceding company data to identify errors/omissions
- Grade Level: Undergraduate Rising Junior or Rising Senior
- Preferred Major: Accounting Major
- Accepted Majors: Finance, Business or Risk Management and Insurance majors
- Basic knowledge of finance and accounting
- Ability to read and analyze contracts
- Critical thinking
- Strong analytical thinking and problem solving
- Good communication skills
- Computer Skills: Excel, Word, SQL preferred
