Utility Team Member – Role Overview
The Utility Team Member supports the Utility Department and assists multiple departments as needed in a fast‑paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform physically demanding tasks throughout the entire shift, including:
- Lifting, pushing, and pulling 50 lbs continuously
- Standing, bending, and working on the floor for extended periods
- Assist multiple departments based on daily priorities (task stacker)
- Complete up to 3–4 home floors per day
- Apply basic construction knowledge and precise measurement skills
- Maintain attention to detail to ensure homes meet quality standards
- Support internal and external teams as assigned
- Well‑rounded basic construction experience
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to adapt and work across departments
- Prior construction experience preferred
