POSTED ON 7/17/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 11/14/2026

Company Description Mundo Legal, APC is a female-owned immigration law firm dedicated to helping immigrant families navigate some of the most important and challenging moments of their lives. We believe exceptional legal representation begins with empathy, integrity, and genuine human connection.

We are looking for someone who wants more than just a job—we're looking for an attorney who wants to make a meaningful difference in the lives of immigrant families while growing alongside an experienced and supportive team. This position is ideal for an attorney with approximately 1-4 years of experience who is eager to develop litigation skills, receive valuable mentorship, and gain meaningful experience in a collaborative environment.

Role Description The position of Immigration Attorney is a full-time, hybrid role based in San Bernardino, CA, with work-from-home flexibility.

As an Immigration Attorney, you will work closely with the Managing Attorney, Yesenia Acosta, Esq. to represent individuals and families with a wide variety of immigration matters. Attorney Acosta has been practicing in immigration law for over 12 years, and has been featured regularly on Super Lawyers Magazine, The Advocate, and other publications over the years. She has been involved in community events advocating for DREAMers, vulnerable populations, and has been on a Board of Directors for the SGV Consortium on Homelessness for several years.

Collaborating with Attorney Acosta, you will help clients understand their legal options, prepare strong applications and court filings, appear before USCIS when needed, and help advocate for clients in removal proceedings.

You'll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with clients, work alongside an experienced legal team, and continually develop your litigation and advocacy skills. Because many of our clients are experiencing significant stress and uncertainty, we are looking for someone who combines strong legal analysis with patience, compassion, and excellent communication.

Day-to-day responsibilities include working with managing attorney to determine legal options for each case, assisting staff with preparing applications and petitions, and representing clients at USCIS interviews as needed. We represent detained clients, and the attorney will visit detained clients in Adelanto to obtain case facts, and work to obtain supporting documents needed. The attorney will conduct legal research, draft motions and briefs, and review supporting documentation. The role also involves meeting with clients and collaborating with staff to ensure timely and accurate case management.
