Spring into a new job...Join our family-oriented fast-paced pediatric practice located in the northern suburbs of Chicago (Grayslake, IL). We are seeking to add two (2) Full-Time professional, experienced, Patient Techs/Nursing Assistant's to our team. We currently have 2 full-time openings. There will be a regular day off during the week when you work 1/2 day on Saturday.
We currently have scheduled appointments for well & sick care from 8am-5:40 p.m. Monday-Friday and 8am-12:40 p.m. on Saturdays. However, we will be starting walk-in hours soon which will create a 7:45am-5:30pm shift M-F and a Saturday shift from 7:45am to 12:30pm. We are closed on Sundays.
Operational Tasks:
Exhibits excellent communication and coordination among the care team, greets patients in a pleasant and helpful manner, rooms patients, obtains vitals, performs vision screenings and point of care testing, stocking, assists with smooth office flow, etc. Performs other related duties as assigned/appropriate.
Knowledge and Educational Requirements:
- Previous experience, medical office setting in pediatrics preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish, preferred.
- Strong computer skills/Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience preferred.
- Demonstration of excellent customer service skills/problem-solving abilities.
- Able to communicate effectively with patients, co-workers & physicians; both verbally and written.
- Sensitivity to confidential matters/HIPAA compliance essential.
- Current CPR certification by the American Heart Association, preferred.
- You must be fully vaccinated against COVID.
