Job Title: Workday & Workato Integration Specialist

Here is the job description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Workday & Workato Integration Specialist to join our team. We are in the process of a new Workday implementation and need an expert to design, build, and test robust integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both Workday and Workato, with a proven ability to provide strategic solutions and hands-on execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Design & Strategy: Partner with project stakeholders to understand business requirements and design comprehensive integration solutions using Workday and Workato.
• Development & Implementation: Build and configure complex integrations, including custom reports, APIs, and data transformation workflows, to ensure seamless data flow between Workday and other business systems.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop and execute detailed test plans, perform unit and end-to-end testing, and collaborate with teams to resolve defects and ensure data integrity.
• Collaboration & Mentorship: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, and external partners, to deliver integration projects on time. Provide guidance and expertise to junior team members as needed.
• Support & Maintenance: Assist in post-go-live support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of existing integrations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Workday integration development, with a deep understanding of Workday's various integration tools (e.g., Core Connect, EIB, Studio).
• Demonstrated experience with the Workato platform, including building recipes, managing connectors, and implementing API-led integration strategies.
• Strong knowledge of API technologies (REST, SOAP), data formats (XML, JSON), and data transformation concepts.
• Experience with all phases of the system development life cycle (SDLC), particularly within an agile methodology.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Workday certifications are a plus.
