Position Summary
The Operational Excellence Manager leads continuous improvement efforts across the organization to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost. This role partners with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, eliminate waste, and drive sustainable performance improvements using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and business processes
- Develop and execute an Operational Excellence roadmap aligned with business goals
- Facilitate Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and structured problem-solving activities
- Coach and train employees in Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools
- Identify performance gaps and partner with teams to implement sustainable solutions
- Establish and track improvement metrics, KPIs, and documented results
- Support new product introductions, process changes, and capital projects
- Oversee ISO Certifications, training, audits, and team members associated with our certification
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Leadership teams
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field preferred
- Lean / Six Sigma experience required (Green Belt minimum; Black Belt preferred)
- Proven & Progressive experience leading cross-functional improvement initiatives
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and facilitation skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Power BI
- Manufacturing or industrial environment experience preferred

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
