Mechanical Engineer

The Mechanical Engineer (ME) will specialize in creating high-performance control and utility enclosures for oil and gas, systems, and clean energy applications. The ME role will dedicate 80% of time to design and 20% to manufacturing processes and support. Utilizing SolidWorks, the ME deliver custom designs that meet specific customer requirements. The ME position involves frequent customer interactions, collaborating with cross-functional sales teams, and working closely with manufacturers to ensure seamless project execution. The ME is highly driven to meet deadlines and achieve customer satisfaction. Attention to detail is paramount, as the ME will strive to limit risks, avoid duplication of efforts, and minimize errors. The ME is a dedicated team player, actively engaging with internal engineering teams, customer service, production, quality teams, and purchasing to ensure smooth operations and high-quality output.

Responsibility for the following areas: 

• Participates in creative process of elaborating overall product design concepts. 
• Utilize internal and external resources to design and fabricate product component. 
• Oversee detailed design and detailing of prototype components. 
• Participate in the definition of new test protocols and methods. 
• Lead and/or participate in design reviews, work collaboratively on design team 
• Work closely with project leaders. 
• Pursue protection of intellectual property. 
• Oversee multiple projects and work cross functionally with various teams 
• Continual communication with supervisor and coworkers on design elements 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
