Neurologist

A Multi-Specialty Practice is looking for a Neurologist to join our team. Our practice specializes in Neurology, Pain Management, Diagnostic testing and Physical therapy with multiple valley locations. The Neurologist will use their expert knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and the central nervous system to help our patients receive the best health care possible at our organization. The ideal candidate for this position has a great work ethic, is very personable, great patient care, superb organization and time management skills.

Neurologist responsibilities include:

• Diagnosing and treating disorders of the brain, spinal cord and nervous system.
• Diagnosing complex medical problems by referring to a patient’s history, examining them and conducting neurological tests
• Counseling patients on neurological disorders and their background.
• Ordering neurological tests and interpreting the results of neuroimaging studies.
• Prescribe and/or administer treatment and medication related to neurological disorders.
• Monitor the behavioral and cognitive side effects of treatment and medication.
• Order supportive care services for patients.
• Liaise with medical professionals in the community and other hospitals

Qualifications, Skill Requirements, and Education

• Must have obtained an MD or DO degree and completed an accredited residency program.
• Proven work experience as a Neurologist
• Fantastic counseling and listening skills
• Superb organization and time management
• Excellent decision-making and communication skills
• Outstanding practical and diagnostic expertise
• Knowledge of legal and ethical standards for delivery of medical care
• Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards

Pay: $290,000.00 - $420,000.00 per year
