Essential Functions

• Reports during an absence for a specified position which can include teacher, paraprofessional, nurse, clerical position, custodian, or food service worker.

• Follows professional practices consistent with school and system policies

• Acts in a professional manner.

• Performs all other tasks and duties as assigned.

• Reports in a timely manner to the specified location.

Requirements

Valid Georgia professional certification in the assigned teaching field.

Physical Requirements

The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following require the following physical demands: significant lifting (up to 50 pounds), carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling and significant fine finger dexterity. Job may require exposure to outside weather conditions.

Generally the job requires 5% sitting, 50% walking, and 45% standing.

Education/Training

Must be at least 18 years of age; minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
