Electrician/Technician - Line & Low Voltage

 General Qualifications

• Has a background and experience in commercial and industrial electricity and maintenance
• Has a background and experience in low voltage systems such as, CAT5/CAT6 cabling, door access systems, security cameras, burglar and fire alarm systems.
• Understands and can read blueprints, wiring schematics of buildings and control systems to troubleshoot such systems.
• Possesses working knowledge of single and three phase power systems including 120/240/480 volts.
• Understands and can troubleshoot digital HVAC control systems
• Understands and can install conduit
• Able to work independently or as a team when necessary
• Possesses excellent communication skills
• Must have knowledge of and execute proper safety precautions and practices

 Terms of Employment

• 52-week employment; wages, hours, terms and conditions of employment in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Board and the International Union of Operations Engineers AFL-CIO Local 399
