What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavior Specialist 2026-2027 position at Multiple Buildings?
Seneca Valley has a full-time permanent Behavior Specialist position available for the 2026-2027 school year.
Grade Level: K-12
Location: Multiple Buildings
Requirements:
PA certification Special Education PK-12 Instructional Level II
At least three years teaching experience
In addition, a candidate should have training and/or experience in the following:
- Experience supporting students in Life Skills, Autistic and Emotional Support Programs
- Experience administering behavioral and academic assessments
- ABC Data Collection (Antecedent, Behavior, Consequence)
- Behavior data analysis to determine effective positive behavior support plans
- Determining appropriate replacement behaviors
- Determining effective student reinforcements
- Implementing effective reinforcement schedules
- Received training/completed courses on verbal behavior and applied behavior analysis
- Relevant assessments for learners of prerequisite academic concepts and skills
- Determining effective instructional strategies for students with low academic achievement based upon relevant assessments
