Overview
We are seeking a skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician III to join our team on a contract basis in Reno, NV. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in maintaining, repairing, and calibrating a wide range of biomedical equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of biomedical equipment in a hospital setting.
- Calibrate equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations
- Document all maintenance and repair activities in accordance with company policies
- Train and mentor junior technicians as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure equipment is functioning properly
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or related field preferred.
- CBET certification required
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Biomedical Equipment Technician in a hospital setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical equipment systems and components
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must pass background and drug screen
