Customer Product Support Specialist (34599)

Job Summary:

The Customer Support Representative role means fulfilling all the customers needs and requirements from quotations to order entry, and all that follows before and after. Product support role requires knowledge of the product and how to properly quote everything multilink offers, along with our competition.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Quote newly designed Multilink products
• Enter sales orders and maintain sales orders
• Update pricing in Syspro
• Work with Customer Service Reps (CSRs) and the outside sales team to answer technical questions from customers
• Answer all emails and phone calls from customers and Multilink personnel
• Find proper solutions to fit customer needs
• Work with engineering in developing new product concepts from customer requests, utilizing the engineering tracking process
• Assist CSRs with engineering tracking questions
• Maintain proper margins on quoted products
• Maintain knowledge of competitor products
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends
• Maintain a 24-48-hour quoting turnaround time
• Consult with department supervisors and the purchasing department for proper lead times on all quotes
• Other duties as assigned by Manager

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
