Multifamily Select Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our community in Salisbury, NC.
Position Requirements
- Management of work orders, vendors, unit turns, building systems and repairs equipment.
- Providing excellent customer service, to ensure positive tenant and owner relations
- Inspecting and evaluating the property, recording deficiencies and notifying tenants to take any corrective actions
- Coordination with property manager with regards to expenses.
Experience Requirements
- High school education or equivalent (GED)
- 2 years experience in maintenance such as (drywall repair, plumbing, HVAC, masonry, rough carpentry, electrical work, appliance repair)
- Ability to work evenings and weekends (on call rotation)
- Excellent verbal communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to pass a criminal background, drug test and driving record check
- Driver’s license, insurance and reliable transportation required
- HVAC Certifications
Special Requirements:
Physical demands; Standing, sitting, walking, climbing, operating machinery, lifting. Ability to work extended/flexible hours and weekends occasionally. Driving required. Must have reliable transportation. Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner.
