Position Summary
The Assistant Community Manager supports the Community Manager in overseeing property operations, ensuring residents enjoy a safe, clean, and well-maintained community. This role is key to delivering exceptional service while supporting financial and operational success.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily property operations and staff coordination.
- Manage leasing functions: show apartments, handle inquiries, explain terms, and process applications.
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and reconcile payments.
- Conduct leasing tours and follow up with prospects to secure leases.
- Minimize delinquency through consistent follow-up and resident communication.
- Prepare and maintain reports, notices, and vacancy updates.
- Inspect vacant apartments and manage move-in/move-out processes.
- Support positive resident relations, addressing concerns promptly.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in property management, with at least 1 year in accounts payable/receivable.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Knowledge: Bookkeeping, business math, accounting, and marketing principles.
- Technology: Proficiency with standard office equipment and property management software (OneSite preferred).
- Flexibility: Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Must pass background check and drug screening if offered a position.
