Duties
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), and electrical equipment to ensure continuous operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances, refrigeration units, HVAC systems, and mechanical machinery using schematics and technical manuals.
- Install new appliances, HVAC components, refrigeration units, and mechanical systems following safety protocols and manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct inspections of equipment and systems to identify issues early and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, parts used, and system performance logs.
- Assist with construction projects or upgrades by providing technical support and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Lead or collaborate with team members on complex repair tasks to ensure timely completion and operational reliability.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical systems repair.
- Knowledge of schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools for troubleshooting complex equipment.
- Hands-on experience with appliance installation, equipment repair, and maintenance operations (MRO).
- Familiarity with HVAC systems including air conditioning units and ventilation setups; HVAC/R certification is a plus.
- Mechanical knowledge related to construction projects or mechanical systems repair is highly desirable.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with leadership qualities to guide team efforts when needed.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and document maintenance activities effectively.
