Description:
- Basic principles, equipment, methods, and materials used in building and grounds maintenance activities
- Operation and maintenance of a variety of hand, power and shop tools used in a variety of trade areas
- Experience with lawn equipment and tractors
- Perform grass cutting services using walking or riding mowers
- Leadership ability and initiative to work without close supervision to complete task at hand
- Methods and techniques of planting, cultivating, pruning, and maintaining a variety of lawns, ground cover, plants, shrubs, hedges and trees for appearance and functionality.
- Safe work methods and safety regulations pertaining to the work
- Basic record keeping practices
- Communicating effectively in oral and written forms
- Willing to work outside
- Attention to details
- High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution preferred
- Leadership and Management experience preferred
- Grounds and landscaping experience preferred
