Children's Specialty Care is a key role within MultiCare's Behavioral Health Department, responsible for providing individual, family, and group therapy in an outpatient office setting. Clinicians treat a broad array of behavioral health disorders, mental health conditions, and co-occurring illnesses while applying evidence-based and evidence-informed therapeutic interventions in their daily practice. We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Professional to join our team. This opportunity is open to both licensed clinicians and associate-level therapists working toward independent licensure. Candidates must meet the Washington State definition of a Mental Health Professional.

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $34.80 - $50.10 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.

Compensation Bonus:
- Licensed Mental Health Professional: (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW): $39.85 - $57.35/hour
- Associate Mental Health Professional: (LMHCA, LMFTA, LSWAIC, LASW): $34.80 - $50.10/hour
- Sign-On Bonus: Potentially up to $5,000 (for qualifying external candidates meeting experience requirements)
- Relocation Bonus: Potentially up to $10,000 (depending on distance of move; available to eligible external candidates meeting experience requirements)
Roles/Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive Intake Assessment of youth and family’s needs across all life domains and review/update as indicated.
- Generate Treatment Plan and Crisis Plan with youth and family based on their individual needs.
- Complete a Functional Behavior Assessment and develop a Positive Behavior Support Plan that is informed by the Functional Behavior Assessment.
- Provide clinical services such as individual and family therapy as needed throughout the course of treatment.
- You will meet agency documentation standards and authorization requirements of contracts
- You will strategically tailor effective clinical/case management services to meeting diverse patient needs
- Make decisions regarding treatment planning, intervention and discharge planning from an informed clinical perspective that incorporates Positive Behavior Support and Best Practice Guidelines.
- Interventions to take place in settings appropriate to youth and family such as, residence, school and community. Reliable and insured vehicle required to attend multiple community-based appointments.
- Refer to and collaborate with Developmental Disabilities Administration Case Resource Manager, specialized agencies and/or community-based resources when clinically indicated.
- Maintain client records in keeping with agency, county, contract and state guidelines.
- Complete continuing education training as required by state regulations and all trainings required by MultiCare.
- Attend weekly individual clinical supervision, weekly team meetings and required agency meetings.
- Demonstrates a commitment to cultural competence.

- You will develop treatment plans which clearly identify the patient’s voice, treatment strategies, and specific outcome measures
- You will meet agency documentation standards and authorization requirements of contracts
- You will strategically tailor effective clinical/case management services to meeting diverse patient needs
- You will contribute to the success of MultiCare expectations and core values, continuously learning, and performing other duties as needed or assigned
- Masters degree in a related field
- A Mental Health Professional as defined within HB 1724 one of these higher credentials are held: Counselor Agency Affiliated Licensed, Marriage & Family Therap Assoc (LMFTA), Mental Health Counselor Assoc (LMHCA), SW Associate Advanced License (LSWAA), SW Advanced Lic (LASW), SW Assoc Independent Clinical Lic (LSWAIC)
- Previous experience providing mental health counseling services preferred
- Drivers License/Abstract
