Position Summary
The Medical Assistant Care Coordinator is an ideal opportunity in the management of the outpatient care coordination and front/back-office duties. The Care Coordinator position at MultiCare will allow you to engage with patient customers while working closely with your clinical team to provide excellent customer service and patient care. You will be an integral part of the team working under the direction of a licensed health care practitioner.
Responsibilities
MultiCare Rockwood Clinic is one of the region’s largest outpatient diagnostic and treatment centers, serving communities across eastern Washington, northern Idaho and western Montana. With more than 350 physicians and providers across 50 specialties and multiple primary and urgent care locations, Rockwood delivers more than 160,000 patient visits annually. Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $19.51 - $28.08 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.

Responsibilities
- You will perform indirect patient care in assisting medical and clerical staff with patient care and follow up.
- You will utilize your knowledge towards the integration of available standards, resources, and data
- You will assist with office duties as needed, applying your discretion, good judgment, and diplomacy towards the excellent office and patient care management
- Partner by implementing your service-oriented attitude, professional integrity, and solid decision-making capacities
- You will effectively prioritize and apply organization and flexibility to your work duties
- Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C)
- Minimum two (2) years in a health care experience
- Minimum two (2) years experience with EMR
