FTE: Full Time, Shift: Day, Schedule: 40 hours weekly Position Summary The Regional Director (INW)– Women’s Services is responsible for the planning, direction, and financial viability and clinical integration of assigned careline services, programs, and operations, provided by MultiCare facilities assuring the adequate and efficient provision of resources, an environment that facilitates optimal patient care, and the marketing of those services. This position is broad in scope and encompasses a wide range of careline services. Work situations are frequently non-routine requiring a broad vision of the future of the health care industry; sensitivity to the values and expectations of medical staff, management, employees, patients, investors, and community constituencies, complex data analysis, and the use of discretion and good judgment in decision making. This is a highly collaborative position impacting services in the inpatient, ambulatory, and physician practice settings. This position interacts extensively in a leadership role with staff, providers, physicians, management, and administration within the health system, requiring the development of strong, effective, and cooperative professional working relationships. External contacts include regulatory agencies, health system consultants, vendor partners, outside organizations, colleagues, patients, families, and specialty groups. Hospital-based leaders may have a dual matrixed reporting structure. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in nursing. Master’s degree preferred Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS) Eight (8) years of clinical experience and mastery of professional or technical role/function. Six (6) years of progressive experience in both a managerial and supervisory capacity Appropriate experience in an administrative or management position of an acute care hospital or other appropriate health-related organization or program preferred About Deaconess Hospital Founded in 1896, MultiCare Deaconess Hospital is a 388-bed acute-care hospital serving the greater Spokane region. Deaconess is home to a Level III Trauma Center, Certified Chest Pain Center, Primary Stroke Center, Maternal Fetal Medicine program and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. It is the only hospital in the area with national accreditation in bariatric surgery. Deaconess provides high-quality inpatient, outpatient, surgical, diagnostic and emergency services. Pay and Benefit Expectations We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $157,229.00 - $234,580.32 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
