Summary:

Supported by a global network and driven by a people-first, problem-solving culture, the company is seeking a highly driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to expand its footprint across North America. This role will focus on identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, initiating key customer engagements, and setting the stage for Sales Engineers to close significant CNC machinery deals.
Responsibilities:
· Research and qualify leads using CRM, web tools, and industry data
· Prospect daily via cold calls, email outreach, LinkedIn, and trade network connections
· Attend industry trade shows, plant visits, and regional events to build pipeline
· Set up discovery calls, meetings, and demos for Sales Engineers/Product Specialists
· Work closely with marketing to align outreach with campaigns and content
· Maintain accurate activity logs and funnel reporting in the CRM
Must Haves:
· Hunter mentality — thrives on outbound activity and competition
· Excellent communication skills with comfort speaking to owners, engineers, and buyers
· Technical interest or background in CNC machinery, fabrication, or automation
· Highly organized and self-directed with time management skills
· Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
· 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or industrial prospecting
· Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Monday.com, Salesforce)
Qualifications:
· Light activity: walking/standing at client sites or trade shows.
· Occasionally lift/carry up to 20 pounds (event materials).
· ~25% travel (air travel, long drives, adapting to varying conditions).
Salary : $55,000 - $85,000
