Maintenance Technician

As an Entry-Level Maintenance Technician, you’ll be responsible for helping maintain the property’s appearance, performing basic repairs, and ensuring vacant units are ready for new residents. No EPA certification or extensive experience is required — just a great attitude, willingness to learn, and a commitment to quality work!

Responsibilities:

• Assist with basic property repairs and maintenance.
• Prepare vacant units for rent-ready condition.
• Maintain the cleanliness of common areas, sidewalks, and outdoor spaces.
• Operate and monitor the trash compactor.
• Support the maintenance of the pool, deck area, car wash, tennis courts, laundry rooms, and fitness equipment.
• Replace light bulbs and perform non-technical lighting maintenance.
• Help with preventative maintenance tasks.
• Keep personal appearance and uniform clean and professional.
• Complete tasks independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and write English fluently.
• No previous maintenance experience is required (related experience a plus).
• Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to lift and move items up to 60 pounds.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Must have a current, valid driver’s license.
• Dependable transportation to and from work.

Nice to Have:

• Basic painting skills (brush and/or sprayer use).
• Minor plumbing repair knowledge (fixing faucets, toilets, etc.).
• Basic electrical troubleshooting (replacing outlets, switches, etc.).
• Familiarity with landscaping or outdoor equipment maintenance.
• Experience with apartment turnover cleaning or preparation.
• Comfort using basic power tools (drills, saws, etc.).
