BRANCH COUNTER & KEYHOLDER

We are looking for a dependable, customer-focused Branch Counter & Keyholder to join our Van Nuys branch. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working with customers, learning technical products, supporting warehouse operations, and taking ownership of day-to-day branch responsibilities.

This position also provides an opportunity to grow with Multi Sales as we continue to expand.

As a Counter Sales Keyholder, you will be one of the first points of contact for our customers and will help keep the branch operating smoothly. Responsibilities include:

• Open and/or close the branch and ensure established procedures are followed when branch management is unavailable.
• Assist customers at the counter, over the phone, and by email.
• Prepare sales orders and quotes and help customers select products that meet their needs.
• Enter and process customer orders, quotes, payments, and returns.
• Provide accurate information regarding product availability, pricing, and delivery.
• Build relationships with existing customers and help grow assigned accounts.
• Prepare merchandise for customer pickup or delivery.
• Maintain product displays and recommend potential new stock items.
• Assist with identifying and reducing obsolete or excess inventory.
• Work closely with the Branch Manager to maintain an organized, safe, and efficient warehouse.
• Support shipping, receiving, inventory, order pulling, and other branch functions as needed.
• Perform end-of-day functions, including warehouse queue closing, manifest processing, document scanning, and preparation of UPS shipments.
• Follow company operational procedures and customer service standards.
• Identify operational issues and communicate concerns or opportunities for improvement to management.
• Learn our product lines through hands-on experience, manufacturer training, seminars, and interaction with vendor representatives.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect company and customer information.
• Participate in required safety meetings, inspections, and training.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional branch environment.

• 2 years of industrial counter sales or similar customer-facing sales experience.
• 2 years of warehouse operations experience.
• Previous keyholder, lead, or supervisory experience is preferred.
• Experience processing point-of-sale transactions, quotes, orders, and returns.
• Forklift experience required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in both counter sales and warehouse environments.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• ERP experience preferred; Epicor Solar Eclipse experience is a plus.
• Ability to learn technical products and provide customers with accurate information.
• Dependable, organized, and comfortable working independently when management is unavailable.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to successfully complete applicable pre-employment screening requirements.
