Essential Job Functions
· Maintain, troubleshoot, repair and test electric wiring systems.
· Follow maintenance/inspection schedules and/or work orders; perform maintenance, diagnose system/equipment malfunctions and repair as needed.
· Troubleshoots Motor Controls, PLC’s, HMI’s, AC and DC motors and drives, encoders, temperature and pressure controllers, transducers, and other electrical equipment.
· Builds electrical control systems from drawings, schematics, blueprints or verbal instructions.
· Responsible for the daily compliance of all plant, corporate, OSHA, EPA, Safety, and housekeeping policies.
· Reads and understands electrical schematics and drawings.
· Apply knowledge of electrical theory, electrical controls and motor controls on complex electrical circuitry; be capable of using various test equipment to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
· Apply knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E and electrical theory for the development, evaluation and implementation of technical data such as testing, measurement and methods and practices; procedures, standards, and specifications; modifications; procurement specifications; equipment performance; and material requirements for new or recently introduced equipment and systems.
· Maintains all data, reference material, and drawings/schematics for all electrical equipment.
· Evaluates and/or performs tests and troubleshoots equipment in order to repair and replace problem equipment.
· Possess solid technical writing and documentation skills.
· Skill in the use of hand tools and a wide variety of electrical test equipment including Digital Multi Meters, Clamp Meters, Megger, and Ohmmeter.
· Analyzes and interprets data from motor drives and other troubleshooting equipment.
· Works on PM’s and repairs of the Hazleton facility as needed by performing a variety of maintenance, repair, and operational duties.
· Perform multi-craft duties requiring some knowledge and skills of allied trades.
· Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant equipment as directed.
· Maintain and repair equipment such as, but not limited to, AC/DC motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, hoists, cranes, pumps, water systems and chillers.
· At the direction of the Maintenance Cell Lead, executes all assigned maintenance work. Work includes preventive maintenance, urgent maintenance, routine maintenance or other duties as assigned.
· Operates forklifts and other mobile equipment as needed safely and efficiently.
· Makes every effort to complete a job prior to end-of-shift but if special skills are required to complete the job must be willing to work to completion after shift change in accordance with company rules and policies.
· Able to access inventory, work order, and vender information in the MP2 system.
· Responsible for completing required reports and documentation including parts usage, entries into Maintenance log books, Work Requests and Work Orders.
· Must understand and comply with all company rules and policies and be willing to accept after hour’s calls if needed

Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour
