Multi-Housing Depot (MHD) is hiring an Account Manager to play a mission-critical role in the Central Maryland multifamily renovation market. Ideal candidates will reside in the Central Maryland region — including Columbia, Laurel, Annapolis, Ellicott City, or Silver Spring.
In this role, you will drive revenue growth and strengthen long-term client relationships, owning the full client journey from onboarding to expansion, while ensuring projects are executed with excellence.
What You’ll Do
- Manage end-to-end client relationships: onboarding → service → growth → retention
- Meet or exceed assigned revenue targets; maintain a 3x pipeline coverage ratio with ~30% close rate
- Conduct client needs assessments, create proposals, and negotiate contracts.
- Respond to client inquiries within 24 hours and maintain >4.5/5 satisfaction scores
- Partner cross-functionally with Design, Distribution, Customer Success, and Accounting teams
- Conduct site visits & measurements (cabinets, countertops, appliances, doors, windows)
- Track activities in CRM (Salesforce/HubSpot) and analyze data to drive growth
- Represent MHD at client meetings, site visits, and industry events
Key Performance Objectives (KPOs)
- 100% Active Accounts retention
- Deliver annual new revenue quotas
- Maintain healthy pipeline activity (3x coverage, 30% close rate)
- Consistently cross-sell/upsell across accounts
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or equivalent experience in B2B account management
- 2 years of proven success in account management, client success, or sales (construction or multifamily industry preferred)
- Hands-on experience using measuring tools (tape measure, laser) and interpreting basic site/renovation plans
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Comfortable working with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to read plans, measure accurately, and assess installation readiness
- Willingness to travel within the DC & Northern Virginia territory for client meetings and site visits
- Capable of lifting up to 30 lbs and working safely on active construction sites with PPE
Compensation and Benefit
- Starting base salary: $60,000 annually
- Performance bonuses:
- New Business Bonus: 0.5 % payout monthly beginning day one
- $5,000 bonus after 90 days, incorporated into base pay
- Annual year-end bonus eligibility
- Car allowance: $700 monthly
- Health & Dental coverage starting the first of the month after 60 days
