Job Description

Job Title: Office Assistant/Accounting Clerk

SUMMARY

This position is full time, Monday-Friday, 8 am to 4:45pm, and in the office in Brooklyn Heights, Ohio.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2 years of customer service
  • Banking experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel
  • High school diploma, additional education or certification a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operate a multi-line telephone system and voicemail system. Able to handle heavy call volume.
  • Prepares emails, letters, and calls for customers with an outstanding balance.
  • Maintain and update customer information in database.
  • Helps reconcile customer accounts.
  • Prepare daily cash deposit and scan checks.
  • Balance & manage daily cash and check deposit.
  • Provide an excellent customer service experience.
  • Dispatch calls to correct department.
  • Report to work on time and perform duties during assigned work hours.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
